Photoshoots

We are very lucky here at Vintage Lane Bridal Boutique to be asked on many occasions for our vintage wedding dresses to be part of some real creative styled shoots, so from a vintage cocktail bar in Warrington to a privately owned manor house in Garstang here's just a few of the ones we have fond memories of...

The Vintage Cocktail Bar Shoot

Our very first shoot came out of nowhere, it was planned to advertise a vintage wedding fayre at The Palmyra Bar in Warrington's Cultural Quarter and that's where the shoot took place, a beautiful bar with its oak beams and antique furniture was the perfect setting.
We met the very talented Louise and Michelle of The Makeup Studio who specialise in hair, make-up and photoshoots combined.

The Rustic Farm Wedding Shoot

We remember the day that Heidi from Glorious Tiaras and Janet from J Broughton Photography popped into our boutique and asked if we wanted to be part of a rustic style photoshoot they were organising at The Wellbeing Farm in Bolton, it seemed perfect for our vintage wedding dresses to be part of so we quickly agreed!

Meeting the beautiful model Madeleine who was at the start of her modelling career and at only 16 years old had obviously never tried on a wedding dress before, but she loved dressing up like a princess for the day and loved it even more when she could kick off her heels and slip on her converse to add a quirky touch to the photos!

Hair & Makeup was done by Jaki Ann, props were provided by Love My Trike and Pearlie Queen Collectables.

The Vintage With A Modern Twist Shoot

For the setting of this particular shoot we wanted an Autumnal feel to it and to show that vintage weddings are perfect for the modern girl!

I was lucky to meet the lovely make-up and hair stylist Alison McMath of Kitty Wink Vintage at a wedding fayre and she suggested getting together for a styled shoot. Alison found a bevy of beauties, perfect for modelling our vintage wedding dresses and along with her colleague Sarah Hayes, they preened and beautified the young ladies and the wonderful shoot commenced.

The very talented Cat and Suze from CT Images were the photographers of the day and they are certainly one our favourites in the photographic world.

Kerry from Happily Events set about creating the most magical table setting under the apple orchard giving our shoot a real vintage fairytale feel. We were lucky enough thanks to Alisons hard work to have this photoshoot featured in the February 2014 issue of Lancashire Life Magazine!

The Tulle & Candyfloss Shoot

Again we were working together with Alison McMath who styled the hair and make-up and CT Images who took the photos in their studio, but this time it was all about the unique headwear designed by Karen Casper of Tulle and Candyfloss. There were two different looks to this photoshoot; one very classic and glamorous, and the other very Avant Garde. We loved both looks on this shoot, which one is your favourite?
